Dear customers:
Thank you for your long time support. From Oct. 23, 2008, EMS will adopt both the volume weight and the actual weight to estimate the shipping fee.
If the volume weight is 1.5 times heavier than the actual weight, the former will be adopted. If the volume weight is 1.5 times lighter or equals the actual weight, the actual weight will be adopted.
The Formula is:
Height*Width*Weight (cm)/ 6000(cm3)=Volume Weight
Example:
The actual weight =8KG
Size=44cm*44cm*33cm=63888cm3
Volume Weight=63888cm3/6000cm3=11KG
11/8=1.375¡Õ1.5...........8KG will be adopted
If size=48cm*48cm*45cm=103680cm3
Volume Weight=103680cm3/6000cm3=18KG
18/8=2.25>1.5.........18 KG will be adopted
