Does R/C Heli also covered by AMA insurance?

Yes, within the restrictions named on the AMA documentation. And you will be required to be an AMA member to fly at any Fun-Flys that the AMA has sanctioned.

I have not read the AMA documentations yet, but what I do know is they want you to fly on the designated area while learning to fly a fix wing aircraft and under a guidance of a qualified R/C flight instructor in order to be covered with their insurance. What I was wondering would it be covered say I try to fly on a public place such football fields or empty parking lots, by my self without a help of a properly trained R/C Heli pilot? Ijust want to make sure that I will be cover just in-case of a property damage.
