I see the statement "If the wings don't spin around".
What if the wings spin and they aren't supposed to?
Here's my story.
Just after a snow fell I wanted to get some aerial shots of the white stuff. Coming in to land afterward I clipped a small tree with one wing tip. It looked like a helicopter for about ten feet and landed in a snow covered shrub. The two camera batteries, [nickel metal AA's and nearly new], departed the camera. I dug down through the shrubbery with frozen fingers. No sign of the batts. I went back the next day and looked some more. I may give it another try come spring when the snow melts. It will be a miracle to find them

and more of a miracle if they are any good after lying in the snow for so long. Our winter low temps have been way below zero forever it seems.
