Biography:

I got started in RC Way back in the late 70's. My first RC flying model was an American Revolution 30, fixed pitch Heli. A year or so later after crashing the Revolution, I got a Hirobo Falcon 505 with a OS-45 engine. It was collective pitch, but still had no gyro.

Later I built several sailplanes, an Olympic II, and two Sailaires. They are 149" wingspan and I remember the elevator had a 32" span .

This one wasn't mine, but my two were very similar

Sailaire149

Lately my interest has come back to helicopters, Aeryk has learned to fly them, and with the advances in Radios and gyros, even I should be able to keep one in the air now!

We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a humdrum star lost in a galaxy tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people.
